Emilie

Emilie has been teaching since 1988 and is a graduate of the Austin Yoga School, one of the first yoga schools in the state of Texas. Emilie continues her studies with senior level Iyengar yoga teachers in the USA and Mexico, and travels to India to attend intensives with the Iyengar family in Pune, India. She is a long-time student of Esther Vexler, who is considered the “mother” of yoga in San Antonio. Emilie was the founder and the first director of the non-profit Esther Vexler Yoga School, the first hatha yoga teacher training program in South Texas.
